CAPSULE 12 is a Child of capsule 10 and 11

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (James 1:22-25 KJV)

This passage says if you hear and don't do there is only one person you are deceiving , that is YOURSELF. Note that it didn't say you are deceiving your wife or husband or colleague or God, but only YOURSELF . In fact you are like a person who after checking out his appearance in mirror does nothing about it.

On the other hand if you hear, remember and do, you will be blessed in your deeds, its that simple. In fact it didn't ask you to do it perfectly , none of us start out doing it perfectly, as a matter of fact I don't know anybody who does it perfectly.

The word of God gives a perfect representation of the real you i.e. your spirit (the born part of you). So what you see there when you look into it, demands an adjustment in your thinking so that your body can conform to your spirit. It is called the perfect law of liberty because as you conform to it you become free of physical circumstances almost effortlessly. This is not a once and for all thing , it is present continuous, it takes practise, it takes dedication. Am I saying its easy? Of course not.

As He spake these words, many believed on Him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:30-32 KJV)

Look at the passage above and consider the steps , firstly you need to believe, then continue in the word, before you are regarded as a disciple indeed. Subsequently you will know the truth that will ensure your freedom. The word translated 'know' is the greek word 'ginosko' which implies to have an intimate knowledge of something or to understand beyond the superficial. Consider James 1:25 above, there is a big difference between looking at and looking into,(but that is for another capsule another day)

WHAT IS YOUR REALITY? (See Capsule 10)

Through faith we understand
that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3 KJV)

From the capsule 10 a ready question and common reaction is 'How can I act well when I'm feeling sick, let's be real'?

Well, the question is what is your reality? If what you can see is all of your reality, then the totality of your reality is in the physical and you are losing out big time. Sure the physical is real and exist but there is a more important reality that you cannot see, and this second reality trumps the physical reality. In fact it is the parent of the physical reality, will outlast it and can also change it.

See Heb:11:3 amongst other things, it says the things that we see are not made from things which do appear. (Because you cannot see it does not mean it does not exist). Meaning the physical comes from the spiritual. But the spiritual you cannot feel, touch, taste, smell or see with the physical eyes. You can only see through the word of God which is the mirror of the spirit (James 1:25)

So whenever there is a clash between the two realities, you need to choose. If you chose the physical i.e. what you can feel, see, smell, touch or taste then you are stuck. It all depends on what you focus on, so chose the greater reality and see things change.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16 KVJ)

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day (2 Corinthians 4:16 NLT)

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV)

Wow!!! Can you see that? The reason we should never give in is because the physical is temporary but the spiritual is eternal. Feelings come and go, but the spiritual remains constant (renewed every day).

Ps: Capsule 12 will harmonise 10 and 11, don't miss it.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? (James 2:18-20 KJV)

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26 KJV)

No you can't confess healing or health and go about acting sick. It does not work that way, one would have to give, the two cannot coexist. If you believe it, it will show in your action/s, faith always demand a corresponding action. The evidence of what is in your heart is in your action.

Have you heard the saying ' talk is cheap'? It's true. A necessary consequence of what you believe is your action. In Genesis 12:1-3, God told Abram to leave his country to a place He was going to show him, attached to this was the blessing. In Genesis 12:4 Abram left, why? because he believed.
In John 5:8 , the instruction Christ gave the man by the pool was 'Rise, take up thy bed, and walk' . He could have argued that it was impossible for him to RISE, after all that is what he has been trying to do for 38 years without success. He had a good excuse (verses 6-7), but he realised that was not going to get him what he needed, so he 'rose'!

You cannot say 'by His stripes I was healed' (1Peter 2:24) then lie on your bed moping your fevered brow, popping pills, sucking grapes and having everybody run around you. No your action does not correspond.

If you believe it, you will have to put MOTION TO YOUR NOTION so to speak. Do something, move and act like you believe.

We would take the pill that resolves the conflict between 'what you feel and what is real' next.

'And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.'
(Romans 8:10, 11 KJV)

When it comes to divine healing, it comes from the inside, from your spirit. For a born again Christian the same power that raised Christ from the dead resides in your spirit. Let me repeat that another way, your spirit is identical to that of Christ, yes! that is what it means to be born again ( 1 John 4:17).
So what we need is not more power but how to access the well of power within us.

'And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,' (Ephesians 1:19, 20 KJV)

The reason why we suffer is because we are ignorant of this truth. Imagine what you can do if you know how to access what is in your spirit (John 14:12).  If you know that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is in you?  It will transform your prayer life from that of begging to praising and thanking. We have all this power on the inside and we spend all the time looking for something we already have. What we should be doing instead is how to get it to flow out (John 7:38-39)

So stop looking outwards, look inward, let the power flow from within, God has put it there already.  Look at the B part of Romans 8:11 again, the question is 'does the Spirit of Him that raised Christ from the dead dwell in you?  If the answer  is yes, which it should be if you are redeemed. Then expect a quickening of your mortal body by that same Spirit........result!
