GOD'S PILL: CAPSULE 20

AVOID THE EXTREMES

(Please read Capsules 16, 17, 18,19)
In Capsules 16 to 19, we discussed the place of faith and patience in obtaining the promise. I defined patience as the endurance of faith and also explained how to work patience and shorten the time in certain instances when the manifestation to your answer is being hindered by demonic forces. This is particularly important when you are ministering healing. However in other instances the delay might be due to you and in some cases patience might need to run its course. I would not be able to give an exhaustive narration here, but it is important to give balance so as to avoid the extremes

1. It is important for you to realise that faith works by love, hence if you live a life of strife it will be difficult to manifest answers to your prayer especially healing. The reason is simple, you become spiritually dull when you operate in strife. In such instances you only have yourself to blame (Galatians 5:6, James 3:14 and 16)
2. Seed time, and Harvest. It is useless (in fact less than useless) to expect a harvest where a seed has not been sown. This law is universal (spiritual and natural) there is always seed followed by time before the harvest. Also every seed brings forth its kind. This has far reaching implications that we are not able to go into here (Genesis 8:22)

3. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: (Hebrews 11:39 KJV)

On the face of it, this scripture appears to contradict all that we discussed in capsule 16-19, however a closer scrutiny will reveal that it is referring to the coming of Christ. The principle here is that some promise are time specific . Knowing this will prevent unnecessary frustration. Abraham was promised that he would be the father of many nations but the manifestation could not have been in his lifetime. There are some things you just cannot microwave .

4. You can only pray and expect an answer for what God has promised in the New Covenant, or faith only appropriates what God has promised. Again people pray for all sorts of strange things and wonder why they don't get an answer.

The good news is that when it comes to healing you don't have to wait, you can always do something about shortening the time from 'receiving it' and 'having it'.

CONCLUSION
AVOID THE EXTREMES, LIVE A LIFE OF BALANCE
