Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God (Matthew 22:29,KJV)

In my experience the devil will cheat you if you allow him using 3 main tools FEAR, SIN and IGNORANCE. In the scripture above Christ makes it clear that the reason why we make mistakes is because we don't know the scriptures and as a consequence there is a lack of appreciation of the power of God. You fear what you don't understand, you walk into sin because you don't know the far reaching consequences and what you don't know is killing you!

I will dedicate the next 3 capsules to these terrible triplet.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 2:7,KJV)

This might come as a surprise to you, but fear is a choice! That is why on several occasions Christ will admonish or rebuke people who act in fear. The question you ought to ask yourself is 'why would Christ rebuke or admonish people who express fear if they didn't have a choice?' Mark 4:39-41
Again, faith is a choice, otherwise Christ would not encourage such as in Mark 11:22.

So to be brutally honest, whether you walk in faith or fear is a personal choice. With knowledge comes faith and this counteracts fear. Fear is the default state, you are fearful because you lack the knowledge required to ensure your deliverance. For instance when sickness or disease attacks your body if you don't know what to do, your imagination runs out of control resulting in fear. Fear and faith have consequences both in the spiritual and the physical.

In the physical, fear either leads to hopelessness (inaction) or foolish meaningless actions. In the spiritual, fear stops the flow of the power of God from your spirit .On the other hand faith in physical is seen as boldness or purposeful action and in the spiritual it acts as a conduit for healing to flow from your spirit. You can only act with the coolness that faith demands if you are operating in knowledge. When you command disease or sickness to leave, it knows whether you are doing it in fear or faith.

One person praying in faith is a lot safer and much more productive than a multitude praying in fear. On one occasion I was called to minister to a 'sick' lad. Already there were about 5 people there praying, but it was so obvious that they were praying in fear, 'wishing' something will happen but not sure what. On this occasion I asked all but the sick person to leave the room because there was so much fear in the atmosphere that it was palpable. To the glory of God in less than 30 minutes the problem was solved. In the past I would have been worried or concerned about asking them to leave, not anymore. I have a choice whether to join them in fear or stand alone in faith. I know what to do. ( Acts 9:39,40)
