This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ KJV)

We are on how to renew your mind and a lot has been said. In the last capsule we introduced the concept of meditation ( which means to study, consider, imagine, mutter and ponder), it also means to brood or hover on something. This is the picture word at the beginning of creation. You will notice that the Holy Spirit had spent sometime doing this (we are not told how long) before God spoke or confessed light into being. The confession was effective and productive because there was a period of meditation, the words spoken by God carried seeds of life for creation with them (Genesis chapter 1: verse 2 , then verses 3 to 30).

This principle is universal and infallible, you can apply it to healing, prosperity, freedom from demonic oppression and sin. I challenge you, in fact I double dare you to follow through and see if things won't turn out for the better. Take scriptures on healing walk in the spirit with them, study, consider, imagine, mutter, ponder, hover and brood over them, and when the time comes set a fire to them with your tongue. In fact there is no way you will meditate on something properly and not end up confessing it. What we call revelation knowledge is when you mind becomes renewed, and grasp a spiritual concept to the exclusion of doubt.

To most of us this process appear alien and difficult, but in actual fact it is not. Worry and anxiety are actually meditation on the wrong things or in the wrong direction. We all do it, what you should learn to do is spend the same energy on the right things and in the right direction (Philippians 4:6-8, Luke 10:41-42).

Before we end this capsule, I will like to show you two things. The first is in Joshua 1:8, look at the phrase 'that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein' or in other words 'walk in the spirit' or 'be guided by the word, which is a true reflection of the spiritual'. I'm bringing it up again to emphasise what it means to walk in the spirit. Lastly, it says as you do this your life will TRANSFORM! We will deal with this more in the next capsule, till then keep walking in health and in wealth.
