And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ KJV)

In the last 3 capsules we have been dealing with the central position of your thought life in divine health and healing. The whole intention is to train us to become creatures of thought and not instinct, this takes time. Most people have (including Christians ) lived all their lives by what they feel and not by what is real (spiritually). And until we are taught, this will remain the default, you can only participate successfully in life only when you have a reasonable understanding and control of your thought life. The whole purpose of God's Pill is to demystify (Mark 4:11,13), and in the process change your mindset from the default to the intentional. Don't just participate in what you don't understand, you are not design to be a 'follow, follow'.

Now that we have established the importance of our thoughts in all things that pertain to life and godliness we need to go to the next step. Romans 12:2 will be our text. When you become 'born again' it is your spirit that changed or got redeemed (2Cor.5:17, 1Cor. 2:9-16). Your soul and body remain the same. However all the power of God gets deposited in your spirit. If this is to be of benefit, it has to flow out through your mind (soul) into the physical world. This will only happen if your mind is in agreement with your spirit (Romans 8:6,11) otherwise it will remain shut up and you will walk like mere men.

So how do you get your mind to fall in line with your spirit or how do you get your thought life to keep up with your spirit or better still HOW DO YOU WALK IN THE SPIRIT? Good question, the answer is Romans 12:2. You have either of two choices, to conform or transform. The default state is to conform, that is, fall in line with the rest of the crowd, experience what the rest of the world is experiencing despite the fact that you have the same power that raised Christ from the dead resident and available in you spirit (Ephesians 1:16-20). Conforming requires nothing from you, it's the natural vegetative state, it means you think like the rest of the human race think despite the fact that you are a NEW CREATURE (2Corinthians 5:17). It means you walk in the flesh even though the real you is a spirit. Your mind remains the same, and go no further, the rest of that verse can never be a reality. To conform means your mind is driven only by the knowledge provided by the physical world (that is secular knowledge).

To conform means your mind is poured into the mould of worldly knowledge and at best what you end up with is worldly wisdom. As good as this is it would not be able to deal with spiritual matters like divine healing, freedom from the effects of sin and demonic oppression or true prosperity for that matter. I hope you are getting the picture of what it means to conform?
