“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭KJV‬

Praise God! Capsules 38 to 42, is a compound capsule, take them all together as one. There is much more I would have loved to say about 'prayer to change things' but I sincerely believe that we have spent enough time and space so I will try and round-up with a couple of essential ingredients in this capsule. Before we do that, I will always encourage you to study the bible references that come with the capsules, in fact my words mean nothing without them, they form the anchor. Secondly, I am able to make some things clearer in the comments I receive and my response to them, so I will encourage you to read them. Like I said in capsule 41, I don't say or do anything perfectly, never have done, that is why I am open to all sincere comments and that is why I am given to repeating myself. Virtually everything I teach against, l probably have done in the past myself. Everything I teach and recommend are things that I have proven many times over in my own life and that of others, so don't be afraid to make mistakeS, as long as they are intelligent ones.

In capsules 38 and 39, we found out that there are 3 'dramatis personae' when you are praying to change things. God who is love, wants you to have life and have it in abundance, You who is doing the asking, seeking and knocking, and lastly Satan who wants to kill, steal and destroy and would do anything to stop it happening. You need to know how to respond to God and that is what we have spent considerable time and space doing (Ephesians 3:20, 1 Peter 5:7) You need to know who you are in Christ and see yourself in the right perspective, we have also spent time and space on this (2 Corinthians 5:17, Philemon 1:6) and lastly you need to have the right attitude and what to do against the devil (1 Peter 5:8-9). Most Christians appreciate this interplay, but unfortunately it is not a concept by which they live, they do not have a practical experiential knowledge of it, to them it's just lip service. Until you make up your mind to draw a line in the sand and commit to it , it will remain just a fanciful theory. We would deal with the third arm of this interplay in this capsule. Don't think because God has given you everything that pertain to life and godliness that the devil will not oppose you.

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There are roughly 3 things to consider, the first and probably most important is that the devil is a defeated foe, you must get this into your spiritual psyche and never forget it. Christ paid the price for your sin and descended into hell (the devil's stronghold) and defeated him there . The defeat for the devil is total and complete (Colossians 2:15, Ephesians 4:8-9). Your responsibility is to enforce and apply this victory through knowledge . Consider this, if he could not stop you from receiving salvation when he had full control over you, surely then he does not in reality have the power to stop you from living the life that comes with . He might not have the power but he is full of guile and wiles.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This brings me to the second thing you need to know about the devil. 1 Peter 5:8-9 is instructive. Verse 8, says 'he goes about seeking'. Have you asked yourself why he needs to 'seek', if he is as powerful as some people believe, why doesn't he just devour all and any? The reason is simple, he can't, that is why he needs to seek the ignorant (those without the knowledge of who they are in Christ, those with the wrong perception of God) by giving them a wrong impression of themselves and their situation. Verse 9 says 'you should resist steadfast in faith'. To resist steadfastly, means to actively fight against without giving any ground, but you must do it in faith, that is in the knowledge of who you are in Christ, not in your own strength ( Ephesians 6:10). You have the authority in the name of Jesus and the power that comes with the Holy Spirit to break the hold of Satan . James 4:7 says exactly the same thing, so does Philippians 1:28. When you know and do this , I double guarantee you that the devil will know that he has met more than his match. The hindrance to this is unforgiveness, it gives the devil legitimacy at your expense (Mark 11:25, Romans 6:16)

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:24 KJV

Lastly, it is important to know that you must first 'receive' (present) what you desire, then you shall (future)have it. I really do not have enough space here to go into details like I would love to . Briefly, receiving is in spiritual, having it is the physical manifestation. There was space of time between when Christ cursed the fig tree and the fig tree appeared dead to the physical senses. As soon as He spoke, it died, but it took 24 hours to show up in the physical. This is where most battles of 'prayer to change things' are won or lost. If you don't know this it will lead to frustration (Hebrews 10:35-38).The key to overcoming this is, learn to walk in the spirit ( refer to capsule 14).
