“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelations 1:8 KJV

I hope you were able to identify with the first principle 'God is my source, God is my ONLY source'. These principles are so simple such that they ought to be obvious without any gain saying, they form a broken vein through the bible. A commonly quoted bible passage, Psalm 75:5-6 makes it more than obvious 'For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” Yet we fret, compromise, back bite, do all sorts of ungodly things to get ahead in life, especially when we feel nobody is watching. I have come to realise that it's one thing to know these principles, what really matters is that they must become functional. I honestly think the vast majority just follow the trend (John 4:23a)

The second principle is 'God has anticipated all my needs and made provision before the need arose'. This is usually a shocker to most Christians, it's as if they cannot wrap their mind around. How can God anticipate your need before it arises and make provision well beforehand? They ask! This is the basis of true sabbath! In Genesis chapter 1, God anticipated every requirement of Adam and spent the first five days putting them in place, Adam's first day on Earth was designated day of REST. The reason is simple, God created us primarily for fellowship with HIM, service is secondary (Acts 27:23). We are human beings, not human doings! Even the provision for Eve was already in Adam, his rib. Adam did not realise he had a need that had not been met, it was God who brought his attention to it “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭KJV
Examples abound throughout the bible. For the children of Israel, the promised land was already in provision (Deuteronomy 8:7-14), not only was it in provision God took the unusual step to show them (Numbers 13:27-28). The ram for sacrifice was already waiting for Abraham, he understood this principle (Genesis 22:5,8). He had come to understand God.....Jehovah-Jireh.

This principle is the basis of the prophetic, God's constant reassurance and re-emphasis on the truth that He knows the future, He has anticipated every need and made provision. That He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty! The implication is that there is nothing that happens to you that takes Him by surprise, if we would fellowship and listen to Him, just like Abraham we would see the ram for the sacrifice appear at the right, not before or after (Psalm 46:1,5).

This principle goes right into the heart of SALVATION! Revelations 13:8 refers to  Jesus Christ as the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the earth, wow! What this means is that God anticipated the problem of Sin/Fall of the human race before it happened and made provision for redemption in anticipation . The day you accepted Christ as your Lord and Saviour was not the day the provision for your forgiveness was made, Christ went to the cross 2000 years ago, paid for sin once for All times and All people (Hebrews 9). By implication all that you need in terms of forgiveness of Sin/sins, deliverance from demonic oppression, divine health/healing and material prosperity was anticipated and provided well before you realised the need existed! Until you realise this, the Christian life will be a struggle instead of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (John 14:26, John 16:13-14, 2Peter 1:4). I constantly have to remind myself of this principle. It sounds so simple and it is but you will have to preach and teach it to yourself over and over, it is not a one time deal. Hebrews 4:9-11 says

“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

This sounds like an oxymoron, labour to enter into that REST. How does one labour to enter into rest? That is what the true sabbath, Christ IS ALL about .

“After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” Genesis 15:1 KJV

Welcome back, with this capsule we start with the first principle for 'Walking in the supernatural supply of God'. For me these are none negotiable, everyone of us desires to see great things happen to us in our Christian walk, we want to see the words of the bible come alive in our situation. The problem is very few people know how and even very few still like to commit to it. We are happy to try it but not live it. The spiritual will always dominate the physical, but both are governed by laws, nothing just happens.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 KJV

You must be resolute and unshakable in your trust that God is your source. The Apostle Paul knew this, when he wanted to bless the church at Philippi he knew the source to draw from.....'my God..' This statement acknowledges that God exist and that you are not HIM. And if He is your source, then it makes you humble and on the other hand leads to uncommon confidence. Think about it, the creator of Heaven, Earth and all that exists is your supply, that frees you completely from the earthly fluctuations (Psalm 24:1). The beauty about this, is that it affects every aspect of your life (freedom from sin and demonic oppression, divine health and material wealth), it's a 360 degree insurance cover.

The reason why some Christians compromise and soil there hands when they get to position of influence is because they have not come to appreciate this truth. Hence they have the fear of reversal of fortune, they see their opportunity as limited. I have seen it over and over, temptation will entice and expose your insecurities. Unfortunately, I have seen Christians also run away from position of responsibility and influence because they are not sure they will be able to withstand the temptation, this also is an ungodly concept. Temptation can only expose what is already on the inside of you, it is virtually impossible to tempt someone who knows GOD IS HIS SUPPLY. See what Joseph said to Potiphar's wife, 'how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9b KJV. This is a concept that is missing with most present day Christians. This statement of Joseph goes to the heart of Joseph's identity. The sin would be against God primarily because he sees himself as employed by God, not Potiphar per se (Ephesians 6:5-8). When you know that God is your source, you will not be a man-pleaser or practice eye service, you will approach and do everything with the spirit of excellence. Men will give you award (which is temporary), but God rewards (which is eternal) Hebrews 11:6 KJV.

‭‭“Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: Psalm 16:4a KJV

Not only should God be your source, God should be your ONLY source, you cannot have God and.....(Romans 11:6), it does no work, in fact it leads to identity crisis and multiplication of sorrow. Abraham was faced with the same dilemma twice in Genesis 13:8-12 and 14:21-24, he did not want any doubt about the source of his supply. On both occasions God showed up (Genesis 13:14-17 and 15:1), look at Genesis 15:1 KJV

After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy EXCEEDING GREAT REWARD

“And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18:13-14 KJV

In this series I would like to answer some of the questions I often get asked. To start with I would like to make it abundantly clear that I don't have an answer to everything and there is still a lot that I would like to know myself (I am still green and growing). But over the years, in this Christian walk I have come to realise that everything God says in His word, He means and that the difficulty is never with God (Psalm 119:89). In this equation of life there are two constants, God that always does good and the devil that is ready to kill, steal, destroy. The only variable is you, the equation is that simple, the circumstance and situation might vary or change but the equation is always the same. It does not matter whether its Healing, Material Prosperity, Freedom from demonic oppression or Forgiveness of sin, the equation is the same. Anything outside this is pure gimmick, we over complicate things, that God has made simple.

The greatest revelation you will ever have is that God is a good God and anything good and perfect, takes its origin from Him. Look at James 1:16-17, “Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning '. That passage starts by saying, 'Do not err or make no mistake about it or don't be deceived' . This is a strong warning that is so simple to understand! Followed by the admonition that 'if it is good and perfect, then it's from God, who NEVER changes or shift like a shadow'. The Devil will do everything to deceive, counteract and make you doubt this by any means possible! From Eden to this present day, nothing has change (Genesis 3:1-5).

In this series I intend to share with you a few of the key principles that I use as pillars of stability in my Christian life and help to crystallise my identity in Christ. From the get go, I will like to stress that these are not a set of formula or some form of specific steps that you can apply like dropping coins into a slot machine, then pull the handle. But these I guarantee will release you from the clutches of religion and tradition. They will open up your understanding of the scriptures and the true nature of God......LOVE.

I have tried to codify them, but you will have to spend time meditating on the scriptures yourself. I am certain you will get better results in the four key areas of salvation (Healing, freedom from demonic oppression, forgiveness of sin and material prosperity). They will serve as internal compass that will guide you. But with this knowledge comes added responsibility, in that you will not be able to use the usual excuses of blaming anybody else.

Lastly, please bear with me if it appears that I am repeating myself, as a matter of fact everything in the next few capsules you probably have heard before but did not give it the attention it deserves or tradition/religion have confused you (Philippians 3:1). You are not alone, it took me almost fifteen years to see things this clearly and I am still learning. I often have to refer to my own teachings. Knowing these truths is one thing, the hardest part is putting them into constant practice such that they become behavioural and experiential (James 1:22-25). These things need to find their roots in you, in Matthew 13:5-6,21, the reason the stony ground was not fruitful was because the seed had not developed roots with depth. In other words they were living on other people's revelation. There is no point quoting somebody else when you have not experienced it, this is fraught with all sorts of danger and leads to frustration. As we end this capsule, in our index scripture above Genesis 18:13-14, the Angel asked a rhetorical question, 'Is anything too hard for the Lord'? The answer is in our conclusion for this capsule (Since an angel asked the question, let another angel answer it).

We start with the first principle in the next capsule, buckle up, things are about to get interesting. I promise you, It will light your fire, money back guaranteed!

You will recall that late last year we introduced the concept of Temperature and Pulse Check just as a way of rounding up. The purpose is to make sure the vital signs, so to say, are healthy. I did explain the trigger for this. All through any series I get feed backs, mainly verbally and I always try to explain that my purpose is really not to be controversial, but unfortunately there is so much misrepresentation of God's word out there, such that I am having to counter years of misleading traditional teachings. There is really no easy way of killing sacred cows. Secondly, once we overcome this years of tradition, we need to learn to walk in these new truths, and it is never easy. I know this because I have been there. You cannot put new wine in old wine bottle, it just does not work

Usually in presenting these truths, there are a few constraints I grapple with
1. How to present them without creating too much shock to the system
2. Maintaining the essentials yet succinct, keeping it simple
3. Making sure it's fun and you enjoy the ride
4. Making sure you put things to practise.

I hope It's working.

Before we look at the selected questions, let me make two quick observations.
The first is that you need to PERSONALISE these teachings, but don't take them PERSONALLY. The former is beneficial, it helps you conceptualise these truths and they become experiential.
The later on the other hand, encourages unnecessary 'navel gazing'. The second observation is that you cannot leave anything out, although the truths are presented as capsules for ease, the thought process is joined up not 'a la carte'. Take for instance TRULY BLESSED, BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVOURED and BLESSED BEYOND A CURSE. The last two capsules are the ones that make the first eleven safe and useful . It's like Sodium and Chloride, if taken separately it will destroy your health, but the two together as a compound substance is a necessary ingredient that you cannot live without . Now let's take a look at a few key questions which hopefully will help

1. What are the 2 things needed to activate the blessings in you?
(Capsule 3, 2016).

2. Are Blessings and Miracles the same, if not what are the differences?
(Capsule 4, 2016)

3. Why does it appear that curses are more common than blessings?
(Capsule 8, 2016)

4. Which is stronger Blessings or Curses
(Capsules 8, 9 and 10)

5. What does favour do, can it increase?
(capsules 6 and 7, 2016)

6. For a NT Saint, how can you reconcile Deuteronomy 28:15-68 with Galatians 3:13-14 ?
( Capsules 9,10 and 11, 2016)

7. What is the consequence of breaking the Hedge and can it be repaired ?
(Capsules 12 and 13, 2016)

I similarly hope you have gained some insight into this controversial subject. My plea is that you go over the series, meditating on the scriptures until they become real to you. The next set of capsules is special don't miss it!
