“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelations 1:8 KJV

I hope you were able to identify with the first principle 'God is my source, God is my ONLY source'. These principles are so simple such that they ought to be obvious without any gain saying, they form a broken vein through the bible. A commonly quoted bible passage, Psalm 75:5-6 makes it more than obvious 'For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” Yet we fret, compromise, back bite, do all sorts of ungodly things to get ahead in life, especially when we feel nobody is watching. I have come to realise that it's one thing to know these principles, what really matters is that they must become functional. I honestly think the vast majority just follow the trend (John 4:23a)

The second principle is 'God has anticipated all my needs and made provision before the need arose'. This is usually a shocker to most Christians, it's as if they cannot wrap their mind around. How can God anticipate your need before it arises and make provision well beforehand? They ask! This is the basis of true sabbath! In Genesis chapter 1, God anticipated every requirement of Adam and spent the first five days putting them in place, Adam's first day on Earth was designated day of REST. The reason is simple, God created us primarily for fellowship with HIM, service is secondary (Acts 27:23). We are human beings, not human doings! Even the provision for Eve was already in Adam, his rib. Adam did not realise he had a need that had not been met, it was God who brought his attention to it “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭KJV
Examples abound throughout the bible. For the children of Israel, the promised land was already in provision (Deuteronomy 8:7-14), not only was it in provision God took the unusual step to show them (Numbers 13:27-28). The ram for sacrifice was already waiting for Abraham, he understood this principle (Genesis 22:5,8). He had come to understand God.....Jehovah-Jireh.

This principle is the basis of the prophetic, God's constant reassurance and re-emphasis on the truth that He knows the future, He has anticipated every need and made provision. That He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty! The implication is that there is nothing that happens to you that takes Him by surprise, if we would fellowship and listen to Him, just like Abraham we would see the ram for the sacrifice appear at the right, not before or after (Psalm 46:1,5).

This principle goes right into the heart of SALVATION! Revelations 13:8 refers to  Jesus Christ as the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the earth, wow! What this means is that God anticipated the problem of Sin/Fall of the human race before it happened and made provision for redemption in anticipation . The day you accepted Christ as your Lord and Saviour was not the day the provision for your forgiveness was made, Christ went to the cross 2000 years ago, paid for sin once for All times and All people (Hebrews 9). By implication all that you need in terms of forgiveness of Sin/sins, deliverance from demonic oppression, divine health/healing and material prosperity was anticipated and provided well before you realised the need existed! Until you realise this, the Christian life will be a struggle instead of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (John 14:26, John 16:13-14, 2Peter 1:4). I constantly have to remind myself of this principle. It sounds so simple and it is but you will have to preach and teach it to yourself over and over, it is not a one time deal. Hebrews 4:9-11 says

“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

This sounds like an oxymoron, labour to enter into that REST. How does one labour to enter into rest? That is what the true sabbath, Christ IS ALL about .
