“For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” James 2:13KJV

Praise God for a glorious day, He gives us victory all the time. We have been on this series for a while and my sincere desire is that you should by now be experiencing changes, they are real practical steps in the right direction. The sixth and current principle appear to have been a challenge to most, hence it has taken up 3 capsules. This topic of forgiveness needs to be properly understood.. In capsule 23, I showed you the challenge or extent of damage it can cause you, in other words the 'DISEASE'. We started on the 'CURE' for the disease in capsule 24. A simple way of knowing whether you are walking in it is if you're able to extend it (forgiveness) when it is not deserved. In fact, the ability to extend forgiveness shows you have come to grasp with the first six principles. People who feel hurt easily or have difficulty forgiving even when it is not deserved are not yet secure in the love of God, period! This is the litmus test. Always remember that God is your source, your ONLY source; He anticipated your need and made provision before the need arose; The supply is far greater than the need; You have all the supply in your spirit; Faith draws out what God has provided in your spirit by Grace, So you are blessed to be a blessing, hence There is never a good reason to hold grudges!

If you properly understand capsules 23 and 24, then the next step is not difficult, get a grip of that reality first (Matthew 12:35). In Matthew 18:15-17, Christ described the steps you should take in resolving this issue when you belong to the same congregation or when you can make contact. The approach is simple, speak with the person alone first , if this does not work, go with somebody you both respect, if you are still not getting through, bring it to the attention of the leadership, simple. If we follow this steps things will workout alright. Avoid the temptation of venting and spewing your bitterness with friends and colleagues before contacting the person, it might make you feel better temporarily, but for all sorts of reasons, it compounds the problem in the long run. The key that make approach work, is to have already forgiven before the contact. You are not asking them to earn it, this makes it possible to forgive even those who you cannot make contact with for whatever reason (they may be dead) or those who rebuff your approach .

Be not overcome of evil, overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 KJV

I have kept this part of the discussion to the last, because it is a touchy subject, but I pray God will give you understanding because a lot hinges on it. If you get hurt easily, if you struggle with extending forgiveness, it's a sure fire evidence that your faith in God is suspect. Remember in Luke 17 that we previously referred to, the disciples demonstrated this very same thought. Romans 12:19-21, admonishes you to allow God to vindicate and not to take matters into your own hands. People who struggle with extending forgiveness do not believe that God can handle the situation, hence their reaction. You can sugar coat all you want, if you believe that promise then forgiveness will not be a struggle. Act 7, Stephen had to ask God not to hold the action against those that stoned him to death because he realised what was in store for them if he did not intervene. Lastly, a proper understanding of the first six principles makes you realise that it is not within the gift of anyone to do you harm, they may try but your life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

We would look at the eighth principle next.

“For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” James 2:13 KJV

We are nearing the end of this wonderful life changing series 'Walking in the supernatural supply of God'. So far we have looked at six of the guiding principles and we started on the seventh principle in the last capsule 'HOLD NO GRUDGES OR DON'T HOLD GRUDGES'. In capsule 23 we discussed the challenge of forgiveness (or unforgiveness), the extent or the damage of unforgiveness , in other words the 'disease'. Those that are close to us, are the ones that hurt us the most and unfortunately because of the constant contact, they have an unlimited opportunity to do so. If unforgiveness goes unchecked it leads to bitterness that ultimately defiles and stops the manifestation of the grace of God in our lives. We would become like a well filled with fresh water but no bucket to draw up the water, because Faith (that is confidence in God) is not active in the face of bitterness (Please refresh your memory and understanding from capsule 23).

In this capsule we would discuss the cure for the disease; unforgiveness. My approach might not be familiar but it is scriptural and effective. The key to the ability to forgive is that it comes from within, it cannot be imposed from outside. You are giving it as a gift don't expect the recipient to deserve or earn it otherwise you will be frustrated, hindered and disappointed. This is so important and gives you the ability to forgive even when physical contact is not possible (those concerned might be dead), or your attempt might be rejected or rebuffed.

The key is to understanding forgiveness, is that it flows from LOVE, (Agape, the God kind of love). If you checkout 1 Corinthians 13, you will see what I mean. The commonest mistake is that we try to GET IT, and therein lies the problem because you already have it! Romans 5:5 KJV says,

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

When we became born again, the Holy Spirit fill or pour into our hearts this agape love! We don't need to look or search for it on the outside, that is who we are, love is already woven into our spiritual DNA. Until you understand this you will struggle to attain what has already been bestowed on you. Religion will keep you ignorant of this truth, it will keep you stretching but never reaching. It is a lot easier to manifest what you already have, all the 'attribute' or ' fruit' of the spirit is already in you (Galatians 5:22). What we need to do is meditate on this truth until it becomes our reality. God is Love and we are born of God (1 John 3:1-2). Once you understand this it becomes a simple matter (but not easy) to extend this Love through forgiveness, because it is entirely within your power to do so and that is who we are. People who struggle to forgive have a poor revelation of how much they have been forgiven. So the first step is for them to meditate on this love, it's that simple!

As we end this capsule I would like to touch on another crucial aspect of forgiveness that is often ignored. In dealing with people, particularly where forgiveness is concerned, it is important to limit your consideration to the actions and not speculate on motive behind the action. This is an obstacle that trips us all, the reason why we hold on to grudges is our perception of the motive behind the action. Whereas actions can be judged accurately, not so with motive. Actions you can see, but you can only speculate on motives base on assumptions. These are simple truths we have considered but they need to be practical and that is what we will consider in capsule 25.

We would look at the practical steps in the next capsule. As always please send a link to your social media site, it will bless someone you know!

“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is the seventh principle, the first six are 1. God is my source, God is my only source 2. God anticipated my needs and made provision before the need arose 3. The supply is always more abundant than the need 4. I am complete in my born again spirit 5. Faith gives access to what God has made available by grace in my spirit 6. Blessed to be a blessing. We would look at two more principles, but before we do I sincerely hope that what we have learnt so far have been of help, meditating on these will quicken your faith?. Like I stated previously, they are not formulas and in discussing them I have in no way been exhaustive. The key to understanding the new covenant is to appreciate that God has provided ALL by grace, what He expects from us is to respond positively by Faith based on knowledge (Romans 11:6, Romans 8:31). When Grace is taught, Faith blooms. When works is taught, fear and ultimately self condemnation is the result (Romans 8:1).

The seventh principle is 'HOLD NO GRUDGES OR DON'T HOLD GRUDGES' or simply put, FORGIVE. Interestingly this is a topic that is widely taught but hardly practiced on a consistent basis, probably because of the approach used when teaching or discussing it. I believe it is not something you can impose from outside, it has to come from the inside out. In this capsule I would like us to consider the extent of the problem, it's importance, the damage lack of forgiveness or grudge can do, and in the next capsule the cure. Curiously, the only time the disciples of Christ ever ask Him to increase their Faith was when He taught about forgiveness (Luke 17:1-5). These were people who have seen all sorts of miracles performed , the dead raised, blind eyes open, leprosy cleansed and many more, but when it came to forgiveness, they realised this was a different ball game, they asked for help with their Faith!

In Mark 11:24, Christ said 'whatsoever you ask in prayer, believe you received and you shall have it'. The next verse say while you are still praying, if you have something against anyone, forgive or release them from the grudge. Matthew 5:23-25, talks about the reverse scenario, if anyone has a grudge against you , seek them out and settle it. Luke 17:4, Matthew 18:22 say there is no limit to the number of times you can extend forgiveness to the same person in a single day. The key to understanding these three admonitions is Hebrew 12:15.

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;”

This passage says if unforgiveness or grudge, takes root it becomes bitterness or a spiritual weed that defiles you and the consequence is that you are not able to manifest or express the grace of God in your life. Take note, the grace is still there, God has not withdrawn it, but bitterness that comes with unforgiveness hinders you (Romans 11:29). Let me put it another way, you will feel unworthy of that grace, or your own heart will condemn you (not God). Bitterness makes you feel like an hypocrite when it comes to spiritual matters, their is a certain lack of confidence or boldness, you shrink away and feel exposed. Despite the fact that God loves you unconditionally, you are not able to reciprocate (Hebrews 4:16). I hope you get my drift?

As we close this part one, note the way the question about forgiveness was framd by Peter in Matthew 18:21a, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Not just anybody, 'his BROTHER '. The word translated 'brother' from Greek means somebody of intimate relationship either by blood or fellowship ( remember Andrew, also a disciple of Christ was Peter's brother and he must have heard this question). Was this an hypothetical question? I guess we will never know, but the point I am driving at is that we should keep our relationship in a state of good repair, especially the close ones. Extending forgiveness to a stranger is never a big problem because the connection or association is loose and the contact is temporary . Not so for those that are close to us.

We would at the cure in the next capsule, then the eight principle. I intend to finish this series by looking at 2 parables/stories of Christ.

“I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.” Romans 1:14 KJV

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:” Genesis 12:2KJV
We would look at the sixth principle in this capsule. A quick recap of the series so far "1. God is my source, God is my only source, 2. God anticipated all my needs and made provision before the need arose, 3. The provision is always more abundant than the need, 4. All I need is in my born again spirit, 5. Faith gives access to all that God has provided in my spirit by grace" . In between these we had a booster dose capsule to show that we have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God. Unlike the OT Saints, we have relationship and fellowship with Him through His Spirit that is in us, so we understand the things of God, the mysteries are unveiled in Christ (1 Peter 1:10-12). In discussing these principles it is important to note that they don't just form a wish list or things that are desirable but not compulsory, otherwise they are of no effect. Christianity is not a way of life, IT IS LIFE ITSELF (John 10:10b).

The sixth principle is "YOU ARE BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING ". The first five principles show you what you have in Christ, the sixth principle help you to communicate this grace and love of God to others. The worth of a person is not in what he is capable of doing, it is actually in what he does. This is the reason why 'The supply is always much more abundant than what you need, so that you have more than enough and overflow to others'. You need to be blessed to be a blessing, otherwise you are a liability. God has designed it this way to express His love to the world. John 3:16, says the reason why God gave the sacrifice of Christ is because He loved.

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. Luke 6:38a

There is never a short supply in the spiritual, the short supply is in the availability of conduits for distribution and expression . Luke 6:38 is a classic scripture that demonstrates this. The blessings of God find greater expression where the flow is not restricted. A free flowing river is full of life, fresh and productive. The only way that spiritual abundance can be made available in this physical world is through you and I. Probably the most significant hindrance is the lack of knowledge of what we have been given, grace and have access to by Faith . You can only truly give when you are sure of what you have and confident that the source will not run dry (refer to capsules 15-20, 2016). Stingy people suffer from 'spiritual poverty'. The lady in Luke 7:47 could express the generosity towards Christ because she had a realisation of the much she had been forgiven. Whereas the servant in Matthew 18:23-35, had no appreciation of what he had been given hence his reaction to his fellow servant that owed him little comparable .

“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” 1 Corinthians 4:7 KJV

The above scripture is very instructive, and humbling, no man in his right senses should ever call himself 'A SELF MADE MAN'. He is either arrogant or ignorant, we all have received from somebody at one time or the other and appreciation of this will keep you humble and a constant reminder that we are blessed to be a blessing.

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35 KJV

Lastly, you must know that life is not 'Get all you can, can all you get, and sit on your can', this makes you small, insignificant and it shrinks you spiritually. Your blessings flourish and find greater expression when your life touch others for good.

Don't forget God's Pill, smooth and small enough to swallow, easily digestible to release it's goodness. Strictly no side effects.

I am glad to see you back. Last week we had capsule 20 and my intention was to move to the sixth principle this week. However, there was so much uproar to some of the things we discussed in capsule 20 such that it is expedient for me to reiterate and explain further certain things and pray that the glorious light of Christ would shine through. This principle cannot be glossed over or ignored otherwise your faith walk will be frustrated. I really appreciate those who gave feedback expressing shock and resistance, at least it gives me a gauge of things. You will recall that this was the same reaction when I taught on Matthew 17:17-21 and Mark 9:17-29 (God's Pill:Capsules 40-42, 2014: Faith/Unbelief, Prayer/Fasting). But gradually this knowledge is becoming mainstream (Romans 10:17)

I still would not be able to do an exhaustive study on Faith, because it will take too much space and secondly I would like to remain in context. Please can I stress that the scriptural references are what gives credibility to the capsule, you need to study them. In capsule 20, I corrected 3 common misconceptions about Faith in the context of the fifth principle 'FAITH GIVES ACCESS TO WHAT GOD PROVIDED BY GRACE IN MY SPIRIT'. The first is that 'Faith is confessing what already exists in the spiritual', your faith is only transferring what God has done through Christ by Grace into the physical world. Secondly, the release or sharing or communication of your faith is made effective when you acknowledge or put premium on your identity in Christ, and this by words and action. In other words you need to switch it on.(Please refer to capsule 20 to refresh your understanding).

The third misconception caused the greatest stir, when I asserted that 'FAITH MOVES YOU, NOT GOD'. This is important for you to understand because there is no way round it, so let me make it clear, FAITH MOVES YOU OR THE MOUNTAIN (that is your problems/challenges) OR THE DEVIL, BUT NOT GOD! YOU ARE TO HAVE FAITH IN HIM.

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38 KJV
The above scriptures give insight, the provisions of God in your born again spirit can only be seen, accessed and brought to manifestation by Faith. They are already there, what you want is to see them in manifestation. Faith helps you to make a withdrawal, it galvanises you into action. If you don't know this you will be complacent. Can you see that movement is on your side for what God has already accomplished in your spirit? So it is you that needs to move not God. Hebrews 11 gave a testimonial of OT saints, demonstrating this dynamics, 'by Faith' or 'through Faith' they moved once they grasped the reality of God's provision, this was even before Christ executed the redemption plan (Hebrews 11:39-40).

‭‭“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:22-23 KJV
Mountain here signifies any form of obstacle, physical or spiritual. In fact in Luke 17:6, it was the sycamine tree. This could be sickness, disease, failure etc There is provision to move them by Faith. So your problems, challenges , hinderances can be moved by Faith, but not God because He moved a long time ago and He expects you to have Faith in Him.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This scripture says you can make the devil flee by Faith, the same is repeated in 1Peter 5:8. In fact Mark 16:17 says you can cast them out by Faith. You see that Faith moves the devil, not God. I sincerely hope that this has shed further light into your understanding? One of the significant reason for prayer failure is this misconception, if you are not aware, it makes you complacent, renders you inactive waiting for your Faith to move God when in actual fact He moved more than 2000 years ago, providing the abundant provision in your spirit and He is expecting you to access it by Faith (Romans 8:32)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God" Ephesians 2:8 KJV
