GOD'S PILLS 2016 : CAPSULE 28

WALKING IN THE SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY OF GOD:
A LIFE OF PRAISE:DEVELOPING ATTITUDE FILLED WITH GRATITUDE;

THE EFFECT OF PRAISE ON SATAN AND HIS COHORT

“And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?” Matthew 21:16 KJV

At the beginning of this year in the very first capsule of 'Truly Blessed', I said I was believing God for great things this year, without a doubt this is coming to pass, I pray the same is happening to you. I can see a clearer picture of the resurrected Christ and by the grace of God a clearer picture of who I am in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 John 4:17). On some occasions I even hesitate to share somethings. For those who are just joining us we are on the eight principle of this life changing series ' Walking in the supernatural supply of God', I call it 'A life of praise: Developing an attitude filled with gratitude '. If you recall from the last two preceding capsule, I said this is three dimensional in its impacts: it impacts you, the Satan and his cohort and definitely acts as gauge for the manifestation of the goodness of God in you life. We have looked at the first part, the summary is that Praise is like taking your spiritual pulse. Like the Medical Doctor will check the arterial pulse and be able to make deductions about your physical health , the same way you can deduce the spiritual vitality of anyone by their praise life, whether weak or vibrant, it's that simple . Praise is not 'A sometime thing, it is an all the time thing' (Psalm 34:1-3).

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.” Psalms 8:2 KJV
‭‭
Let us consider the effect of praise on the Satan and his cohort. To properly understand you need an insight into his personality. Isaiah 14:4-16, Ezekiel 28:12-19 and Colossians 2:15, Hebrews 2:14-15, these passages give a synopsis of the transformation/ fall of Lucifer the anointed cherub to Satan the arch enemy/father of lies and his subsequent comprehensive defeat (Please read, study and meditate). We can draw a few conclusions about the personality of Satan from these.

1. He is a self centred megalomaniac who lost his coveted place as the chief worshiper in heaven
2. He has a deep desire to be worshipped
3. He is envious of us, because the coveted place of praise which he lost, now belong to us
4. He is a Defeated, Disarmed foe whose only real weapon are lies and wiles
‭‭
Now if you put these elements together the effect of praise on Satan and devils is similar to what you get when you shine a bright light into a dark corner and see rats scuttle away. In the presence of a life exuding of praise, he feels a sense of shame, loss, frustration and helplessness . This is the reason why demons depart from a life or environment perfumed with praise. Demons loosened their grip on Saul whenever David ministered to God, it even made a mad King sane. Jehoshaphat won an impossible war, the impregnable wall of Jericho came down. In Matthew 21:18 when Christ was challenged by the Pharisees concerning the Praise He received, He referred them to Psalms 8:2. Note that He substituted 'perfected praise' for 'ordained strength '. We have a simple equation here : Perfected Praise = Ordained Strength. Your tongue/mouth is like a two edge sword where praise is concerned. The second part of Psalms 8:2, says the purpose of the ordained strength is to stop the enemy in his track. I wonder whether Churches and denominations who are so consumed with fighting the devil are reading the same bible that we have, I really wonder. I will suggest you meditate on Psalms 149:5-9, this is a picture describing spiritual warfare. Did you notice that it says 'let them sing aloud upon their BED and ends up saying this is the prerogative of ALL THE SAINTS (without exception) ? Remember this the next time Satan tries to harass you. In summary, a life of praise (Thanksgiving, Praise and worship ) towards God is a potent reminder to Satan that he is a defeated foe and you know it.

“Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalms 149:5-9 KJV
‭‭
CONCLUSION
PERFECTED PRAISE IS ORDAINED STRENGTH THAT STOPS THE ENEMY IN HIS TRACKS

Ps
These are truths that need to be experiential concepts, in the next capsule we would see how praise enhances the manifestation of grace in your life. Don't stop shinning!
