GOD'S PILL 2016 : CAPSULE 47

THE NAME, THE WORD AND TRADITION OF MEN: THE WORD (THE POWER)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3 KJV

1Timothy 2:4, God wants us SAVED and come to the knowledge of the TRUTH. In my postscript for Capsule 46, I stated that this is Christianity 101, correction, this is Christianity, period!
To help us come to the knowledge of the TRUTH, we considered the significance of the Name, the incomparable Authority it carries and that we are AMBASSADORS for that Name in the three spheres: Heaven, On Earth and under the Earth, that is the privilege. As with all privileges, there are responsibilities. In this, we have unfettered access to the Throne Room of grace (Hebrews 4:16), With this Name we reconcile men to God, translating them from the kingdom of darkness to light (2 Corinthians 5:20). When we decree in this Name we cast out devils and every manifestation of death (Mark 16:17-18).

In this capsule we would consider the knowledge of the the TRUTH, that is the person of the Resurrected Christ, from the angle of the Word (this is not an exhaustive study of the word, it is important that we remain in context and not get carried away). Let me try and lay down the premise to help keep our focus. In Luke 9:1, when Christ sent the twelve disciples out to preach the Kingdom, He gave them two things, POWER and AUTHORITY. The reason is simple, Authority is only effective if there is Power to back it up, Power is only useful if you have the Authority to deploy it. From our discussion so far, we know the Name signifies the Authority, we need to know the Power the Authority is coupled to.
The knowledge of the Resurrected Christ as the Word, 'for in Him dwells the fullness of God' that is, 'The Resurrected Christ carry in His person the complete agency of God permanently ' and we are AMBASSADORS for Christ (my paraphrase). Colossians 1:19, 2 Corinthians 5:20. Let us now consider the Word, the nature and the workings.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
John 1:14 KJV

It is important that we understand the nature of the Word. John 1:1-3, 14, unveils the WORD as the very essence of God, even before His manifestation as the Son or the Resurrected Christ. The totality of God is expressed in the Word, that is the full expression of everything that God is. Every other expression is a shadow or type. What this means is that a revealed knowledge of the Word should be the ultimate desire . You cannot be more spiritual than your Word content (those who try to be spiritual outside the word end in error, this is the root of the deception in white garment churches and those that practice spiritism). I know this might be difficult for some to swallow, so I will spend time to validate it. In Psalm 138:2, God Himself magnified His Word above His Name (please consider all we have discussed about the Authority in the name of Jesus Christ, then check out the dictionary meaning of magnify and above). With this in mind, Christ speaking, John 4:24, 'God is a Spirit', John 6:63, ' The words that I speak they are spirit and they are life'. Even to the uneducated but honest mind, there is only one conclusion, God manifest Himself (that is makes Himself visible to the five senses) through His Word.(John 1:1-3, 14).

For the purpose of our discussion and from all the above it is important to list a few conclusions about the Nature of the Word

The Word is unchanging or immutable or perfect. It cannot be improved on, it is constant , it does not mutate. Isaiah 40:8
The Word is the power of God, or No Word of God is without power. Luke 1:37, Romans 1:17
The Word of God is eternal, that is, it transcends time and space, but works through time. Psalm 119:89
The Word is Spirit, it carries the signature and DNA of God. That is, God does not do anything outside the Word John 6:63
The Word is a Seed. 1 Peter 1:23

As we round up this capsule please keep these conclusions (of the nature of the Word ) in mind, they are vital to our discussion and understanding of the workings of the Word. In the next capsule we would look at what happens when the Word is deployed through the Name. This would simplify yet make your life and actions more meaningful, it will purify your spiritual language. Just the Name and the Word, the Authority and the Power, that is all you need, because we are AMBASSADORS for Christ.

CONCLUSION
WE ARE AMBASSADORS, WE HAVE AUTHORITY AND POWER

Ps- The reason we teach is so that we can with words, describe and make visible what is not visible. Providing a vivid image of the unseen. (We would expand on this in the next capsule).
