“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Genesis 1:27 KJV

We would bring this series to a close with this capsule. I know that we have discussed quite a few things that might have challenged mainstream theology. But I have no doubt that on balance of the evidence, they are settled truths (Psalms 119:89). My core desire is to help individuals come to the place of spiritual security through knowledge (Ephesians 4:11-14). The Christian life is finding out who we are, what we have and then walking in it (Matthew 11:28-30, Ephesians 1:17-23, Ephesians 2:10, Ephesians 3:16-20).

Our main focus of discussion in this series, is to show that, we are made in HIS IMAGE, AFTER HIS LIKENESS AND HAVE HIS DIVINE NATURE. Imagine for a moment the possibilities, if we truly believe that! (Mark 9:23).

I cannot do a comprehensive recap so to understand and flow in what we have been discussing, you need to start from capsule 10 at the very least (as a matter of fact you will recall that I said at the beginning that this and the preceding two series should be taken together). Nevertheless, we now know that Christ, the Resurrected Lord is the exact image and representation of God the Father (Hebrews 1:3, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Colossians 1:15).

Secondly, Christ is the firstborn or first begotten, meaning in our born again spirit (the New Creation) we are in the image of Christ (Romans 8:29, 1John 4:17, Hebrews 2:11). With these two planks, I hope you can now connect the dots? The greatest hindrance we have is that this is not visible to the naked eye. The word of God however paints a perfect picture, if you will allow it.
The disciples walked with Christ in human form for three and half years, but on one occasion in Matthew Chapter 17 on the Mount of Transfiguration, three of them saw Him with the veil of the flesh pulled aside (John had a similar experience in Revelation Chapter 1:12-16, on the Isle of Patmos. They saw the Image of the Father in Him.

Now consider this, if all what we have been discussing is true, (and indeed they are), and if we can somehow look inside us and see our spirit, I am persuaded that we would see something similar, (after all we bare the same image and likeness) , this is the narrative of 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 (please study this in many versions). We need to see beyond the veil of our flesh. Knowing this changes everything, the emphasis is no longer on what we can see outside, but on what is on the inside of us. A lifetime is not enough to discover what we have, in fact (in my personal opinion) no one has ever come close, but just imagine what it would be like to release a fraction of what is on the inside, we would lack nothing (Ephesians 1:17-21, Ephesians 2:17-20, Romans 8:11).

As we round up, remember that the plan right from the foundation of creation was for us to be in God's Image and after His Likeness (Genesis 1:26-28). That has always been the design and intention of God but the fall polluted the Image of God in us, so of necessity the whole of redemption is to restore us back to the original state, but better. I say better because we now have knowledge and authority over the adversary. We know who we are, we are the Image of God, created after God's Likeness and have God's Divine Nature.
Eve had an identity crisis, she was chasing after what she had already. Think about it, if you truly know and believe that through His Divine Nature that is already in you, you have everything that pertains to life and godliness, you will never feel inadequate.

Lastly, this knowledge will keep you anchored to God almost effortlessly, because He is your source, and not just your source but your only source (Capsule 15, 2016). After all, what else do you need outside of this? You are already made in the Image of the Father, in His Likeness, and have His Divine Nature, just like the First Begotten, heir and joint-heirs! The only thing left is the knowledge to bring this to bare (2 Peter 1:2-4)

I want to thank each and everyone for your patience. I challenge you to put these truths to test and prove them, break away from the mould of mediocrity and live the life. Like I have said several times, I can sense a change in tone, these truths will become common place very soon let us give things a push together. “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.” Hebrews 1:6 KJV

Reading and studying this series, I hope your faith is quickened? These things are settled truths. They are not just aspirations, God already made them available, all you and I need to do, is walk in them, simple. Colossians 3:10, 'Put on the NEW MAN, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him'. The popular concept that is often taught, is that by confessing these truths they will become so. This line of thought is wrong in every sense and the source of a huge hindrance to many. The reason we confess these truths is because they already exist, we are just appropriating what has already been provided (Hebrews 11:3). Let me put it another way, and this might shock you. Faith does not create anything, what faith does is to bring what already exist in the spirit realm into physical manifestation (there is huge difference between the two) . If you ever grasp this, it will remove struggle from your faith walk, your prayer life will become more meaningful and interesting. From the preceding capsules, we know Christ is the exact image of the Father, and we are made in the image of Christ the Resurrected Lord who is the firstborn (Romans 8:29, Colossians 1:18).

“And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.” 1 Corinthians 15:49 KJV (1 Corinthians 15:47-49 in context)

In the last capsule, I showed you the difference between the incarnate Christ who is the only begotten Son, and the Last Adam or the Resurrected Christ who became First among many brethren. This is pivotal to your understanding of who we are. In Hebrews 1:6, you will notice that the writer refers to Christ as the FIRST-BEGOTTEN, meaning He is no longer the only begotten, but first of many 'begotten'! This is the whole essence of redemption (to return to the original ownership following full payment). God did not redeem us from slavery to the Devil, to make us slaves again, no not at all (Galatians 5:1). 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (my paraphrase), the Holy Spirit provides an atmosphere of liberty, removes the veil from our eyes so that we can see properly who we really are, like in a mirror and be transformed into His Image, from glory to glory.

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17 KJV

Look at this wonderful passage. When you understand that Christ is the first among many, one of which you are. This is evidence that God's love for us is perfect love, it gives us confidence or boldness even in the day of judgement. The reason for this is simple, even right now, in this present time, as Christ is, so are we. We are New Creations, Children of the Kingdom. I cannot overemphasise this, these are not metaphors or cliches, these are completed work. You don't need to beg, scratch or plead for them, they already belong to us. Identity Crisis born out of ignorance is what is keeping most from enjoying these benefits. Imagine the confidence you will have in prayer, if you truly believe that Christ is the firstborn, but you also have a number in the family? Faith then becomes spontaneous, not something you wind yourself up for.

Remember, that our focus of discussion is that we are MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD, AFTER HIS LIKENESS, AND HAVE HIS DIVINE NATURE. For those of you who have followed the discussion from the beginning, hopefully there is a parallax shift in your thinking. We would conclude this series in the next capsule, there is just one more thing to show you before we conclude.

I feel a quickening in the spirit, these truths that we are sharing are about to become common place. I can hear a change in tone of many, the message is gradually getting through. Help spread the word, be part of the move, link God's Pill to your social media sites.

“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified". Romans 8:30 KJV

I will urge those joining us for the first time, to at the very least, start from the beginning of this series. What we have been discussing requires sequential and logical reasoning. Not that it is difficult to understand, but it is counter culture.
The sole aim of the discussion is to verify beyond the shadow of a doubt to the open minded that, we are, 'Made in the Image and after the Likeness of God, and have His Divine nature'. This is not a feel good cliche, it is a settled eternal truth. The question then is ‘whether you will embrace it and live the life’?

The first point we discussed is to show that the whole of the scriptures primarily paints the image of Christ, even the work of the Holy Spirit is to point towards Christ (John 15:26). The reason for this is simple, nobody has ever seen or can see God because He is a Spirit. (John1:18, John 4:24, 1Timothy 6:16).
The exception to this is Christ, not only is Christ the exception, He is the exact image and perfect representation of the Father (Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 1:3). So the clearer you see Christ, the better you see the image of the Father, His person and true nature. The reason why a lot of prayer is misdirected is because we do not know the person and true nature of God.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Romans 8:29 KJV

To the casual scholar of the word, reconciling John 3:16 and Romans 8:29 will be problematic. The first (John 3:16) says Christ is the only begotten Son, whilst Romans 8:29 says Christ is the firstborn among many brethren. Both are absolute truths that compliment each other.

The incarnate Christ as seen in the gospels is the original Seed or pattern after which we are formed. The incarnate Christ, as the only begotten, was crucified and buried but He rose as the Resurrected Lord or last Adam to give birth to the NEW CREATION. This was what the incarnate Christ was referencing in John 12:24. This explains 2 Corinthians 5:17, the Resurrected Christ became the first among many brethren. Colossians 1:18 describes Him as the Firstborn from the dead, because when He rose from the dead we rose with Him in the new birth. A seed of corn when planted (buried), brings forth multiple corn that are exact replica and of the same quality! (John 12:24).

“For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,” Hebrews 2:10-11 KJV

Look at Hebrews 2:10-11, verse 11 says Christ that sanctifies and those that are sanctified (that is the New Creations) are one and the same, that is the reason why Christ is not ashamed to call us brothers because we now have the same Father. The only begotten has now made all of us begotten of God! The inferiority complex suffered by the church is self imposed. The Captain of our salvation says we are one, He gave birth to us. Ephesians 1:6 says we have been accepted in the beloved. God sees us in Christ. When you come to understand this, John 14:12 will make sense to you. It is important you grasp this, because your success or failure depends on it. This legitimises your approach to God as a son. This is the reason why we are called HEIRS of God, JOINT-HEIRS with Christ (Romans 8:17).
The reason why we struggle with the concept of faith is because we have not believed what we are and what we have!

As we close, I hope the picture is becoming clearer? The scriptures paint the image of Christ, so we can see the Father, His Image, likeness and Divine Nature. Christ, the risen Lord is the first of many brethren (the New Creation) and we are made in His image and joint-heirs with Him. I will pursue this point further in the next capsule and completely clear the cobweb.

I am persuaded that these truths will become commonplace in the near future, they cannot remain hidden, the whole creation is waiting for our unveiling. Be part of the move, link God's Pill to your social media sites.

“God, who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” (Hebrews 1:1-3 KJV)

To make a success out of your Christian life, you must learn to believe what you know. Belief means you have taken ownership and it is now a concept that drives you, you live by it. Until you are able to do this, you will be double minded at decision points, your prayers would be loud but not ring true, you will say one thing but mean something else. A quick recap, we are 'Made in the image of God, after His likeness and have His Divine Nature'. You might find this difficult to conceptualise, it is true in its entirety, not because I say so, but because that is what God says (Genesis 1:26-28, 2Peter 1-4). To really understand this, everything hinges on being able to see Christ clearly in the scriptures. You cannot skip this step, not only should you see His image in prophecy, it must dawn in your heart like day star in the the Gospels and Epistles. The reason is simple, no man has seen God at any time or can see Him, the exception to the rule is Christ (John 1:18, 1Timothy 6:16). The good news is that Christ and the Father are one and the same. So the clearer you see Christ, the better you grasp the Image of God, His likeness and Divine nature.

'Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person....' Hebrews 1:2-3a

Hebrews 1:1-3, the passage above is like no other passage. In paraphrase: 'it says, in the past, God communicated His person through the Old Testament prophets using different methods. However, in these last days, He has spoken directly to us through Christ'.

Now see the qualifications for Christ, 'brightness of God's glory', 'express image of God's person'. These two expressions taken together means Christ is the perfect representation of God the Father, down to the molecular level. What this means is that Christ is the only person that can communicate God, His person and true nature perfectly. The singular desire of any properly schooled Christian should be to know Christ, period! Everything else is secondary at best, or redundant (Philippians 3:10). This cannot be over emphasised.

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 KJV

2 Corinthians 4:3-4, says the strategy of the devil to keep people from knowing God (salvation), is to ensure that Christ remains hidden to them. Why? Because Christ is the image of God, this is central point. This is so straightforward, I honestly don't know how we miss it? I hope you are making the connection between our topic of discussion? The modern church has developed all sorts of unnecessary gimmicks that serves no useful long term purpose.

In the next capsule, we would start considering the third link. The whole purpose of these teachings is to move you from just knowledge to believing what you know, that is called revealed knowledge or revelation. We are not like everyone else, we are made in the Image of God, after His likeness and have His Divine nature. We are New Creations, God possessed. Stop belittling what you have, don't be afraid to acknowledge it.

I am persuaded that these truths will gain ground and become commonplace soon. We would see the end of wishy-washy, bamby-pamby christianity, Truth always prevails. Let's hasten the process, link MinDGyM to your social media sites. Somebody is waiting to hear this.
