“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
You will recall we introduced the concept of TEMPERATURE and PULSE check sometime ago as a means of checking that the salient points in the immediate past series are recognised and digested. In my experience most Christians find the Teaching Ministry as the least attractive. We are in a microwave age, we want it fast and now! Unfortunately, this trait has led to stunted growth in most, making them prone to deception. Things just don't happen by accident, there is always a spiritual law that guides everything. We know that about the physical world, but somehow we just assume it is different for the spiritual world , not so. If anything, there is more order in the spiritual world
Our index scripture, 2 Timothy 2:15 says it all. We need to be patient, we need to be taught, and we need to be ready to be taught so that we can have a firm basis for everything we do. Again, I say the spiritual can be taught, and it should be, welcome to the Fourth Temperature and Pulse Check. We would be looking at the last three series:
The Word, The Name and Traditions of Men
Healing under three different dispensations
In His Image, after His Likeness and Divine Nature
As you might recall, I suggested that these three should be taken together for maximum impact, I hope you did. In fact they form a continuum.
Concerning 'The Word, The Name and Tradition of Men
Can you remember our key scripture for the series? Can you give two or more other examples?
Did you learn something new or gain insight into something you already know?
What does the Word and the Name signify? Any scriptures to back these up.
Which scripture describes us as Ambassadors for Christ. What does it mean?
Do you remember the significance of Mark 7:13, Colossians 2:8
Concerning 'Healing under three different dispensations '
What are the key differences between healing under the Old and New Covenants?
Of what use is the Old Covenant to the Church?
How is the New Creation different from the Homo Sapien ?
What are the other synonyms for the New Creation?
Is 3 John1:2 describing healing or divine health?
Concerning 'In His Image, after His Likeness and Divine Nature
What is the difference between Divinity and Deity?
How is the Incarnate Christ different from the Resurrected Christ
Why is Christ referred to as the Last Adam and not the second Adam?
Give your thoughts on the terms 'Only Begotten ', First Begotten ', First born'
Is it true that the New Creation is made in the image of the Father, after His Likeness and have His Divine Nature?
I hope you find these questions stimulating enough to get you to go back through the series once again. God bless you and don't forget to spread the word and link to your social media sites
